Career Development Center (CDC) aims to support Koç University students and alumni in their career and career development; graduate school planning; making informed decisions and getting ready for professional work life.
The primary goal of the CDC is to guide students and graduates on how to explore themselves – understanding their interests, skills, strengths, values, competencies and personality traits- and how to combine this awareness with their career choices.
Career advisors are professionals who have working experience in various sectors between 5-20 years, and all advisors completed their coaching training.

UNIV 101 Start Your Career Today Mandatory Seminar
UNIV 101 Start Your Career is a mandatory seminar, which introduces new students in Koç University with career development tools and resources that may be needed during and after university life. The seminar aims to equip students with tools and methods to design their career journey and necessary steps to achieve career goals, and also provides tips for students about how they can most effectively utilize the tools and services provided by the Career Development Center during their university life.

Mock Interview Days give students the opportunity for practice, hands-on interview experience.
With the activities organized in December every year, it is aimed that students receive feedback from professional human resources experts during these practice interviews. These activities also contribute to students’ professional development and help them better understand the specific interview processes of companies.
These are the seminars organized to improve the skills students will need during the transition from academic life to professional life and the skills that employers would like to see in new graduates.
These are the seminars aiming to provide students with prior occupational knowledge about various fields they plan to specialize in regarding business life and professional fields. The seminar series is provided by professionals from the field. Students, who participate in all the seminars in a series will obtain a participation certificate.

You can log in to this exclusive platform to get appointments from the career advisors, prepare and upload CV/Cover Letters, view and apply for the published job and internship announcements, register for seminars, workshops and other career events.
LinkedIn is a platform for global job search, Kariyer Net, Secret CV, YeniBirİş can be used for internship and job opportunities from Turkey.
Highered platform offers international internship and job opportunities and organizes online career development webinars and virtual career fairs.
Career Development Center offices are located on the -3 floor of Student Center rooms B303, B330, B331, B334C. The working hours are Monday – Friday 08:30-17:30.

Career Development Center offers online career advising sessions during the distance learning periods. The sessions are conducted through online applications such as Skype, Zoom, MS Teams.
All career workshops, seminars, and courses were conducted online during the distance learning period. Events are announced via emails and social media and organized through Zoom, MS Team or Instagram Live. Students and alumni can interact with the guest speakers just like face-to-face events.
KUcareerlink is a platform exclusive to KU students and alumni where they can get appointments from career advisors, prepare and upload CV/Cover Letters, view and apply for the published job and internship announcements, register for seminars, workshops and other career events.
Newcomers will receive an email about their KUcareerlink username and passwords. It is also possible to visit KUcareerlink and renew their password with the “Forgot Password” button.
Students can log in to their KUcareerlink account choose the “Career Advising Appointments” tab – click on the “Request New Appointment” button and choose available slots of advisors.
If there are not any available slots, students can send an email to career@ku.edu.tr.
