CPAP is a mandatory program for all Koç University undergraduates, except for the School of Medicine, to improve computer proficiency. Its aims are to develop and evaluate the skills of students in Microsoft Office Word (word processing) and Excel (spreadsheets).

DOS 171 – Digital Literacy course will be a mandatory course for all undergraduate programs except for Medicine, starting from the 2023 Fall semester. Current students will be able to continue to take the “CPAP 100 – Computer Proficiency Assessment Program” course for 4 more semesters (until the end of the 2025 Spring semester).

DOS 171 – Digital Literacy: Computer basics, operating systems, internet basics, internet concepts, digital communication, web browsers, email basics, email providers, spreadsheets, workbooks and worksheets, analyze and visualize data, word processing, pages layout, presentation.
