The Career Development Center aims to support all Koç University students and alumni in career development, forming graduate education plans, and making decisions related to professional life. The primary goal of the Career Development Center is to help individuals gain awareness of their interests, skills, values, competencies, and personality traits, and guide them on how to align this awareness with their career choices.
Career counselors are professionals with work experience ranging from 5 to 20 years in various sectors and fields, who have completed coaching training.

UNIV 101 Start Your Career Today Mandatory Seminar
The UNIV 101 “Start Your Career Today” mandatory seminar introduces students who are new to Koç University to career-related development tools that they may need throughout their university life and beyond. It aims to introduce tools and methods to help students design their career journey and take steps towards their goals, and it provides tips on how they can effectively utilize the Career Development Center during their academic life.

Career Readiness Seminars
These seminars are organized to help students develop the skills they need when transitioning from academic life to the corporate world.
Professional Development Seminars
These seminars aim to provide students with information on topics that may be needed in professional life and vocational fields. It is a seminar series on a specific topic, delivered by an expert, and students who attend the entire series receive a participation certificate.

The Career Development Center team’s offices are located on the 3rd floor of the Student Center (ÖMER), in rooms B304 and B305. The services of the Career Development Center are provided on weekdays from 08:30 to 17:30. Career Counseling
The Career Development Center continues its counseling services online during the remote learning period. After booking a career counseling appointment, meetings are held through online meeting tools like Zoom/MS Teams.
Career Events
During the remote learning period, all career seminars, workshops, and courses are organized online. The events, announced via emails and social media accounts, are held through Zoom and MS Teams applications. During these events, students can interact with speakers and ask questions just as they would in face-to-face events.
KUcareerlink is an internet-based closed system accessible only to Koç University students and alumni. All students have a user profile on the system. Through KUcareerlink, students can apply for job and internship postings, book appointments with counselors, and register for events and training sessions organized by the Career Development Center.
The KUcareerlink username and password will be sent to all students via their KU email addresses after the school opens. Students who believe they haven’t received this email can go to the KUcareerlink page and use the “Forgot Password” button to reset their password.
To book an appointment with the Career Development Center counselors, students can log into their KUcareerlink account, click on the “Career Advising Appointment” button in the left menu, and then click on the “Request New Appointment” button. If the matter is urgent and no suitable appointment slots are available, students can email career@ku.edu.tr to request a meeting.
On the Career Development Center website, under the “What Can I Do with My Major?” section, there is a wealth of information and resources for each major, including sectors, fields, companies, and academic institutions, to provide ideas about career, job, and higher education options.
